Strategy for social media and beyond.

Let's to get visitors excited about your app before they even set foot in your museum. We're here to ensure that you're utilizing your digital media tools to their fullest potential.

Facebook

Facebook is the main forum for multiple points of interaction — from photos to edutainment (educational entertainment). It allows you to share announcements, photos and videos to get your visitors excited about the app. Furthermore, you have the ability to share events, such as an app launch party.

Let your followers in on the process by sharing pictures of iBeacon installation to what the app looks like used in a gallery space. You might also consider posting graphics we provide to you to your page, such as a mock-up of the app. Finally, you can also use pictures you already have of your museum. For instance, share pictures of galleries/collections/objects as they are added to your app. You could even make a daily Instagram countdown leading up to your launch day by sharing photos of your museum with a text overlay of days until the app release.

Official Website

We recommend at least making an announcement if not adding a permanent info section about your app to your official website. The key components to include are as follows.

Explanation of key features. Does your app include an original artist interview? A tour of a special exhibit? The ability for users to comment? This is an opportunity to position your app a unique cultural experience for prospective visitors, and to get existing members intrigued by this new venture.

A link to download. Direct visitors to where they can download the app. Cuseum provides you will directions to create links that go directly to your app page on the App Store or web app.

A visual component. Cuseum also provides you with simple, clean, well-designed images tailored to your app. Feel free to include any of our icons or graphics your app.
