Everything you need to know to get started.

Welcome to Cuseum!

In this guide, you'll learn the basics on how to edit your Cuseum-powered app and how to push changes in real time. Let's get to it!

Your Cuseum Account

If you already have an account, you can simply login to Cuseum with your email and password to get started. If you forgot your password, you may reset it here.

If you don't have a Cuseum account, please contact [email protected] for assistance.

Your Dashboard

Your Cuseum dashboard is your content management system (CMS). What exactly is a CMS? The CMS is our cloud-hosted application that allows you to edit, delete and publish content in an intuitive, easy-to-use format:

Preview Your App Content Updates

When creating your app's content, your Cuseum web-powered app is your ally (it's faster than unlocking your iPhone's screen / Android screen and reopening the app).

Use the left side panel to access all the available menus for your app content creation process:

Then, use the "eye icon" labeled as "View app" on the top right side of the dashboard to open the web app in a separate browser tab. You can place the web app window right next to the CMS as shown below so you can see your app in the flesh as you go:

To push the new content to your apps (web app, iOS, Android), click one time on the "Clear Cache" button right next to the "view app" icon:

Important:

  • Try clearing cache only once, after making all your content updates. Clearing cache multiple times in a short period of time may cause your Cuseum account to have delays and slower processing response.

  • Refresh the page (F5 on Windows and CMD + R on Mac) after clearing cache so you can see the changes.

Below is a Cuseum Demo web app you can use as a reference when figuring out what works best for your app:

Content Creation With Mobile Devices

Although this is not as comfortable as working on a desktop computer/notebook/macbook/iPad/tablet, you can also make edits by using your smartphone! It works best for quick edits that don't require asset uploading.
